Instead, consider low-impact activities that are gentler on your body.

Swimming is also a great low-impact activity that can help you stay active while reducing the strain on your joints. Walking is another simple and effective way to stay active during the first trimester.
Hot tubs and saunas are also some things to avoid in the first trimester as they can cause your body temperature to rise. This can be dangerous for your developing baby. High temperatures during the first trimester can increase the risk of the neural tube and other congenital disabilities.
